how I built it

• originally used p5.js (now three.js!)
• prototyped the keyboard with placeholder pigeon images
• modelled my own pigeons in blender
• ported the whole thing to three.js after rigging new pigeon models I made

why a pigeon choir?!

for some background, I speak Japanese. My thoughts often gravitate toward freestyle word assosciation when I'm resting. So - the Japanese word for choir, gasshoudan and pigeon, hato-chan connected in my mind. as you can see, I had no choice but to make a pigeon choir.
